Supporting our websites
MeatFYI.com and / or AmericasFood.org

The Institute for Rural America is a nonprofit and is designated a 501c3 charitable organization by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Financial contributions are tax deductible.

The Institute does not operate any income generating businesses. From time to time we win grants for educational productions and other initiatives, but day-to-day activities are conducted with the financial donations of supporters and gifts of time and talent by professionals in their field.

These websites are an extension of our education and research efforts targeting segments of the North American food business. Because they are relatively new, it is important that you ‘vote’ to maintain them by using the websites and newsletters and providing financial backing for their continued existence.

To provide support to the Institute, you may donate online right now by using the Network for Good an online nonprofit support organization. Please click here to explore online donation now.

Write a check or money order payable to the Institute for Rural America and mail it to us at:

Institute for Rural America
P.O. Box 566
Ames, Iowa 50010

Your canceled check is your tax deductible or business expense receipt. If you prefer, when mailing a contribution, you may request a receipt and we will mail one to you, or print and use the online form.

We encourage you to please note that your contribution is in support of MeatFYI.com or AmericasFood.org. It’s your ongoing support that makes this service possible for users like you!
